The hotel offered a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very clean and tidy, cozy, comfortable, and met expectations for the price paid. However, they were described as very small and grubby. The location was superb, close to the main tourist attractions and with convenient parking options. The dining experience had its flaws, but the breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Overall, a decent value for money stay with room for improvement in certain areas.
After over 20 years of visiting Blackpool and staying at many B&Bs, I will never overlook Shores Hotel again. The rooms were well decorated and very family-friendly, making for a comfortable and clean stay. However, the price might not entirely justify the experience.
The family suite we stayed in was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. Although a bit cramped for longer stays, it was ideal for short trips. The room looked slightly smaller than expected from the online pictures, but it had a great big comfy bed with luxury bedding.
